Safety at Maxx USA
MAXX North America (USA) is committed to preventing the accidental injury, environmental release or loss of any of its resources, including employees and physical assets. In fulfilling this commitment to protect people, environment and property, management is committed in providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
MAXX USA will direct work in accordance with industry standards and adhere to all applicable legislative requirements. Employees will be competent to perform the required tasks, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, environmental incidents, accidents, or personal injury/illness.
MAXX USA recognizes that the responsibilities for health and safety are shared. Safe work practices and job procedures will be clearly defined in the company’s Health and Safety manual for all employees to follow. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, foremen, employees and contractors.
⦁ All employees will be equally responsible for refusing unsafe work and/or work they are not competent to perform, in an effort to minimize accidents within our facilities and on our work sites.
⦁ All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Quality at Maxx USA
Maxx operates, within North America, with the express permission of the Governing Regulatory Bodies, under the condition that written Engineering/Quality/ and Construction Practices are being followed which provide conformance to the Customers’ Engineering Design and Construction Specifications as well as strict compliance to the applicable Codes and Regulatory Requirements. To meet the requirements set by the Regulatory Bodies, Maxx has created a Quality Management System Manual that is used by all Divisions.
The Quality Management System Manual is used in conjunction with Maxx North America Services Ltd. Quality Control Manual for Construction of Pressure Piping.
The Company requires “a pride in workmanship” and as such, Quality objectives are set at ZERO Rework. It is expected that all Company and Subcontractor workers take every reasonable precaution to eliminate unnecessary rework. No job is so urgent it cannot be done “right the first time” to ensure efficient construction execution with schedule and costs adherence.
Poor Quality and workmanship are not acceptable on Company worksites and must be corrected. The Company is committed to working together with all Customers and Subcontractors to ensure that a “pride in quality” attitude exists among all workers on-site.
The Quality Management System Manual is supported with quality procedures, processes, and forms that have been developed by Maxx North America Services Ltd. Quality department, for use by the Corporate Executives, Project Team(s), Business Service Unit(s) and the Company’s Project Quality Personnel (IE: Coordinator and QC Inspectors). Individual Project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) will be completed and submitted to the Customer for mark-up, prior to mobilization, based on each project contractual activities therein.
